Renee's 5K Run/Walk and PHun Walk

Renee Brodeur was diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension in 2010. She received a double lung transplant in June of 2011. After a valiant journey, Renee lost her battle in April of 2012.

Proceeds from this event will be donated to UPHill Journeys at Maine Medical Center in Renee's memory to support patients who have pulmonary hypertension and who also experience transplant-related and other financial expenses.

Overall Male and Female in the 5K race will win a $50 Gift Certificate from Tangle's. Age Group Male and Female certificates of achievement and a $20 gift certificate from Tangle's in the following age groups.

• 50 - 59
• 60 - 69
• 70 and above

• Preregistration 5K Chip-timed Run - $20.00 plus a $2.50 registration fee at check out.
• 1 Mile Team of 10 registering at the same time - $5.00 plus $2.50 processing fee per runner added at check out.
• Day of race registration (Cash) 11:00 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.: 5K Chip-timed Run/Walk - $25.00

PHun walk is for patients, their families and children.

If race is canceled due to extreme weather conditions, there will be no make-up date and no refunds.

Tech T-shirt to all pre-registered racers. T-shirts will be available on Race Day for purchase.
